Virtual Warehouse accepting items to help 2006-2007 winter tornado victims

02-07-2007

Neighbors to the Rescue virtual warehouses are community-based, community-controlled vehicles for helping people recover from disasters. We help communities keep track of surplus items and pro bono services and match them up with people who have lost everything in the same geographical area.

A virtual warehouse is now available for Volusia-Flagler counties in Florida to assist in the recovery from the winter tornadoes from 2006-2007.

Contact Laura Zublionis at United Way, Volusia-Flagler counties, at 386-253-0563 for more information and stay tuned for more news from Neighbors to the Rescue.
